Doing the iPod thing again February 15, 2008

I did one of these deals a couple years ago and wound up with a nice iPod that I fell in love with and used constantly. However, ever since the hard drive went up in smoke, I’ve been podless. Well, I did have a iPod mini that my wife gave me, but the thing just couldn’t hold all of my music and it was a little out dated. I need a color screen.
Well, I found one of those free iPod offers again and I’ll try and go at it again. After looking at the different offers that I could complete, I found a NetFlix deal. I’ve been interested in them ever since they started advertising unlimited streaming movies. They have a ton of anime that I’ve seen, so I’d like to catch up on a lot of those series.
Speaking about catching up on things, I’d love to start listening to podcasts again. At the moment, I manually listen through iTunes - if i ever open the thing. It’s just not as portable.

I don’t understand why it is only for North American’s. All of the other companies that offer these kind of deals are usually limited in the same way. Perhaps it is because many of the offers usually involve shipping that would be too expensive to ship out of the country.
