Shortly after I had blogged about my efforts to animate the structure sculpties with my parcels media stream, Claryssa Schmidt responded with a flash file that she had made to accomplish the same effect. After rigging it up to my own parcels stream, I had the same problems as she did. You had to zoom your camera in and out in order to get the object to update its shape. After working at the problem, I found a way around this. I use a timer event to keep updating the prim so that it either displays the polygons single sided or double sided. The client thinks that it needs to take a second look at that texture it wants to use. video

So if this is a video file you can include audio as well. How about animating a sculpted face so that it’s mouthing and talking to you…perhaps explaining something. A media NPC, I guess it would be! Great job, you and Claryssa both. Definately keeping an eye on this!

Thor, it very well is possble. However, we have noticed that Sculpties seem to be very … bumpy? You could get an NPC talking with sound, but it would not win a beauty pagent.
