Covered Bridge


One of the main things that my wife and I want on the island of Woodbridge is … wooden bridges. Surprised? Specifically, we want covered wooden bridges. I found a couple of images from google of how different wooden bridges look on the inside and outside. I had a few problems with the arch, but then I realized that Flexi prims could help save the day. They work great except for the fact that they tend to wiggle every now and then. If mega prims were still possible, I could probably get a custom one made of a tube on its side to help with the mapping. Other then that, I think this first build has some potential.

    I’m also manoeuvring to get an island at the moment, and a bridge of some kind is high up on my list of things to have there. The one I’m thinking of replicating is the Rainbow Bridge in China, although it looks as if it may take up too many prims. Ever since I saw a TV programme on the recent attempts to build a replica of it based on a painting, I fell in love with it and wanted to build one myself.

    Good luck with the island. They are a nice change from mainland. I used to rent an estate here and there, but I’d prefer if I could fully rule my own land.
